We can build more diverse and inclusive journalism if we engage directly with community members. This interactive session \u2014 part discussion, part workshop \u2014 will take participants through a design thinking exercise for moving at the \u201cspeed of inclusion.\u201d We'll explore how to represent the full diversity of voices in our communities to make them more present in our reporting. You\u2019ll walk away with an engagement plan for a project that puts community at the core of reporting and learn foundational skills \u2014 such as how to map stakeholders \u2014 for putting these lessons into action.
