Before that, Nash spent three years at the Detroit Free Press as assistant managing editor for metro-state news, where she directed local news coverage and the investigative team. Prior to joining the Free Press, Nash was the news director for AnnArbor.com, a digital-first news organization. At the Register, Nash has spearheaded a push for access to public records and was one of the editors of \u201cHarvest of Change,\u201d the first virtual reality news project in the country to be designed for the Oculus Rift platform. Nash has a bachelor\u2019s degree in journalism and a master\u2019s degree in social sciences, both from Eastern Michigan University.
