Carrie is an award winning journalist and independent filmmaker. She was recently Executive Producer for Documentaries at Al Jazeera America, and senior producer of Al Jazeera’s Emmy and Peabody Award winning series Fault Lines. Lozano has worked with veteran investigative reporter Lowell Bergman at U.C. Berkeley’s Investigative Reporting Program, where she co-founded Collaboration Central with MediaShift -- a digital space for collaborative journalism. She was also a contributing reporter on PBS Frontline’s Black Money and Post Mortem. Among other documentary work, Lozano produced the Academy Award nominee "The Weather Underground," "Utopia in Four Movements" and "Reporter Zero."
