Elissa, a long-time environmental reporter and editor, now works as the director of media and communications for the Office of the Provost at the University of Cincinnati, where she also teaches all levels of journalism courses. An inaugural Restorative Narrative Fellow for the nonprofit Images and Voices and Hope, she regularly presents to both journalists and scientists about the importance of clear and accurate science storytelling.
