Gabriel is a professor at the USC Annenberg School of Journalism and co-director of the Media, Economics and Entrepreneurship program. He studies business-model disruption in the news industry and works on developing products and approaches for news consumption at the Annenberg Innovation Lab. Before joining Annenberg, Gabriel worked for a decade at The Wall Street Journal as a foreign correspondent in Asia and Europe and served as the paper's Los Angeles bureau chief.
