Hailey has worked on Yahoo News Digest's editorial team since the app's testing stage and has seen it grow to include multiple regional installments and its new Apple Watch iteration. She also works closely with the development and design team on future plans for the Digest. She started out as a print reporter for local Texas papers and the San Diego Union-Tribune. She ultimately found her way into the digital realm after a stint in local public radio as a web producer. She is originally from Austin, Texas and lives in Brooklyn.
