Jennifer is vice president for journalism at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and a former board member of the Online News Association. She joined the foundation last fall after nearly two decades at The New York Times, where she was the first social media editor, a reporter and senior editor. She previously worked as an award-winning reporter at New York Newsday, the Philadelphia Daily News and The Bulletin. She taught journalism and digital media at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and CUNY's Graduate School of Journalism. Jennifer is the author of the book, Queen Bess.
