Kurt Streeter

Kurt’s work spans a broad spectrum. At ESPN, where he's worked since February, he has written in-depth profiles of Jameis Winston and Emmanuel Mudiay. During his 15 years at the Los Angeles Times, he was primarily known for longform feature writing but also covered transportation and crime, and wrote a sports column. The most recent of his honors came from the California Newspaper Publishers Association, which gave him its Best Feature Writing award in 2013 for a series chronicling life inside a hospice for hardcore prisoners. It was his second CNPA award: In 2008, his narrative about a deaf high school football team took first place in the sports category. His work has also appeared in Best American Sports Writing.
