Mariana is the director of interactive and design at Fusion, a joint venture between Disney/ABC and Univision. Her aim is to explore the boundaries of storytelling when crossing arts and technology. With an outstanding team of designers, developers and artists fusion interactive team challenges interactive storytelling about underrepresented communities. Former Stanford Knight Journalism fellow 2015, and ICFJ Knight Fellow in Latin America. Started her career at The Guardian in London where she learned the power of mentorship which led her to create Chicas Poderosas - a network of mentoring in journalism, leadership and digital storytelling, aiming to bring more women to technology in newsrooms.
