As Publisher and Chief Operating Officer, Mary draws on her diverse background in media and marketing to build creative strategies for raising revenue and awareness for Voice of San Diego. Mary spent 13 years in television as a writer and producer before transitioning to nonprofit marketing where she developed successful membership and loyalty programs for the San Diego Blood Bank. She went on to form her own consulting firm specializing in strategic philanthropy and continues to manage Ford Motor Company’s charitable giving in Southern California.
