Meghan reports on transportation issues for KPCC Southern California Public Radio with a focus on sound-rich storytelling and audience engagement. Her "#MakeAlCare" series on voter apathy during the 2015 Los Angeles municipal election has been featured by Poynter and the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard. Meghan has been with KPCC for almost 5 years, working as a producer, reporter and editor for newsmagazines, The Madeleine Brand Show and Take Two, where she covered cultural issues and the California water crisis. She has worked in public media up and down the state from KQED in San Francisco to KVIE in Sacramento and KCET in Los Angeles. She got her Masters in Journalism from USC Annenberg.
