Sharis is a multi-media journalist and independent producer that brings fresh story angles to story ideas that connect with today’s emerging audiences. She is currently the co-host of the www.latinorebels.com weekly podcast covering national and international news with a Latino focus. She's previously contributed to KCET, Fusion, On Being, The Jerusalem Post and Cape Town TV in South Africa. She also has experience successfully leading numerous media campaigns reaching outlets including the Wall Street Journal, NPR, The New York Times and all major Spanish language outlets. In 2011, she received her M.A., in Broadcast Journalism from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
