We’re less than one month away from the opening of the ONA15 Career Fair.

Much like a concert for The Roots, we’ve all heard jobseekers and recruiters say about career fairs, “If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all.”

The ONA15 Career Fair will change that perception! In Los Angeles this September, you’ll find new, mid-career and veteran digital journalists and technologists seeking to be matched with emerging and leading media companies, organizations and education programs.

Though the recruiting event spans two days — Thursday, Sept. 24 from 1-5 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. — job and education seekers at ONA15 are strongly recommended to submit their information via the ONA Career Connections form, so recruiters can contact them before the conference to schedule conversations.

Recruiters: You’ve spoken, and we’ve heard you! This year, the Career Fair space will be located in the heart of it all — the same floor as the ONA Exhibitors and Midway participants. Foot traffic galore!

We all understand that identifying digital talent is a must in today’s media landscape. Regardless of your primary platform — be it print, radio, or broadcast — ONA’s national convention is fertile ground to help your organization find the talent to stay competitive. Take advantage of the one-on-one conversations that this intimate career fair will offer.

Registration is $400 per company/school/station/publication for one table and includes career-fair only admission for two recruiters and exclusive access to the ONA15 resume database.

Join Gannett, Hearst Television, American Public Media Group, The McClatchy Company, Los Angeles Times, Ball State University, CNN and Quanta Magazine/Simons Foundation.

There is limited space still available. Read more details here, then be the next organization to register. Please contact Jessica Strelitz with any questions.
